ClearOps is a Munich-based start-up that provides a transformative B2B enterprise software for the data-based optimization of supply chains in the machine manufacturing industry. With ClearOps, our mission is to keep the world of machines running smoothly by harnessing the power of data from machines to dealers to manufacturers and changing the way machine manufacturing companies operate their aftersales networks. Renowned international customers like Stihl, AGCO, Jungheinrich and Terex already trust us their business. We are now moving into a hyperscaling model and are looking for ambitious rockstars to join our team.
Your profile
As an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) focusing on Marketing, Sales & Customer Success, you’ll get a 360° view of how a fast-scaling startup grows. You’ll work closely with our commercial team, supporting key initiatives that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
This role is designed for curious, hands-on talents who want to learn how to build and scale a tech business from multiple perspectives – from first customer touchpoints to long-term success stories.
Your Resposbilities
Marketing & Growth
Support marketing campaigns to build ClearOps’ visibility across digital channels (LinkedIn, email, website, events).
Help develop creative content ideas for our Employer Branding and Product Marketing initiatives.
Conduct market and competitor research to identify new opportunities and trends.
Sales & Business Development
Take ownership of parts of the prospecting pipeline – from identifying new leads to supporting outreach activities.
Test and optimize innovative outreach strategies and messaging.
Assist in creating and refining sales materials and presentations.
Customer Success & Operations
Support onboarding and communication with customers to ensure a great experience from day one.
Help analyze customer feedback and develop ideas to improve satisfaction and retention.
Prepare documentation, best practices, and resources to scale customer success processes.
Qualifications
- Keen interest in Inside Sales and Lead Generation
- You are curious, proactive, and want to learn how startups grow commercially
- You have strong communication skills (English and/or German) and enjoy interacting with customers
- Ideally, you bring some experience or studies in business, marketing, or related fields – but most importantly, you’re eager to learn.
- Eagerness to learn Sales and Business Development strategies
- Motivation and drive to meet targets
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
- Willingness to familiarize with CRM software
- You’re tech-savvy and excited about how data and digital solutions can transform traditional industries.
- Interest in the software or machine manufacturing industries is an advantage
